Surface layer
: A mixture of mostly plant-based waste and some of water-based polyurethane.
BACKING
Bottom layer : Textile backing
Lyocell backing (+sometimes contains apple pomace)
or 100% rPET backing
* Only apple pomace powder can be weaved with lyocell fiber.

It consists mostly of a plant-based by-product of the beverage industry, and contains some water-based polyurethane for strength, durability and performance. PU Plus aims to reduce its carbon footprint with the patented technology that minimizes synthetics and replaces them with bio-based materials.
